Meet Tina!

 

Born in Santa Fe, NM, and raised in Las Vegas, NM, we met when she was the Executive Director of the Animal Welfare Coalition of Northeastern New Mexico and managing the City and County’s Pet Center Animal Shelter. Before that she was a human rights lawyer in Miami, FL, and moved back to Las Vegas, NM, in order to take care of aging family members.

 

Her laser focus, intelligence, dedication, passion, quick decision making and amazing writing skills makes her a force to be reckoned with. At the time of her portrait she was going through major life changes and every day she came to the studio she looked different making painting her portrait very challenging. In the end I captured both her fierceness and her kindness.
